How the practice works.
A sanction letter is the end of a long chain of decisions: how the requirement is sized, how the financials are presented, which lenders are approached and what is conceded in negotiation. Each of those decisions affects pricing, covenants and certainty of execution.
InfinityEdge advises promoters, management teams and corporates across the debt spectrum. We assess the requirement, build the lender-ready case, run the lender process and remain involved through negotiation, sanction and disbursement.
Situations where this practice is engaged.
The requirement outgrows a single lender
Limits, tenor or quantum exceed one bank’s appetite, calling for consortium, multiple banking or syndication.
Capex needs project-style funding
Term debt for expansion or a new plant must be sized to project cash flows and supported by bankable projections.
Existing debt is expensive or restrictive
Pricing, covenants or security terms constrain the business and a refinancing or restructuring is warranted.
Conventional credit is unavailable
The profile, sector or timing does not fit bank norms, and private credit, AIF or NBFC capital is the realistic route.
An account is under stress
Cash-flow strain or a slipping account needs a credible resolution plan before options narrow.
Growth capital without further dilution
Venture debt and structured instruments extend runway and fund growth alongside or after an equity round.
What the practice covers.
The full scope of the practice, available individually or as part of a wider mandate.
Working capital facilities
Cash credit, overdraft, bill discounting and non-fund limits assessed against operating cycles.
Term loans and project finance
Capex and project funding sized to projected cash flows, DSCR and security cover.
Debt syndication
Structured placement across lenders for larger quantums and competitive terms.
Private credit and AIF funding
Non-bank institutional capital for situations outside conventional bank appetite.
NBFC and bank funding
Term loans and on-lending lines for NBFCs, with lender selection across public, private and non-bank institutions.
Venture debt
Non-dilutive runway for venture-backed companies: sizing against burn, tenor, moratorium, warrant cover and covenants.
Structured and asset-backed financing
Cash-flow backed structures secured on receivables, contracts or assets, not collateral alone.
Consortium and multiple banking
Structure, lead-bank coordination and documentation across several lenders.
Refinancing and balance-sheet restructuring
Take-outs, repricing and re-profiling of existing obligations.
Stressed and special-situation funding
Resolution plans, restructuring and recapitalisation for pressured accounts.
NCD and debt capital-market advisory
Debenture structures, where the size and profile of the issuer support them.
Credit rating advisory
Rating diagnostic, financial profiling, documentation, management-meeting preparation and surveillance support, to strengthen ratings and lower borrowing cost.
Negotiation, sanction and disbursement
Term-sheet negotiation, documentation and conditions precedent through to drawdown.
